An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving Dubai Mirage (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Kevin Stott and Marie's Diamond (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Ben Curtis.
Curtis was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed when insufficiently clear of Dubai Mirage (IRE), causing Stott to take a check.
Approximately 3 furlongs out, Dubai Mirage (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed, giving Copper And Five (GB), placed sixth, a slight bump, taking it off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Joanna Mason reported that Copper And Five (GB), placed sixth, missed the break and was slowly away as a result.
