At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Rachael Blackmore, rider of Shantreusse, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount travelled well but did not pick up in the latter stages
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, A.P. Kelly, rider of Slip Of The Tongue, trained by Padraig Roche, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount travelled into the race but got very tired in the closing stages
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, S.W. Flanagan, rider of Yeah Man, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not pick up in the latter stages of this race
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Yeah Man, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
An extended handicap steeplechase for five years old and upwards that have not won a steeplechase before 1st May 2022, other than one hunters steeplechase within the previous two National Hunt seasons that are EBF eligible and that have run at least three times in steeplechases up to and including 15th March 2023 Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase or steeplechases after calculation of the handicap shall carry any penalty or penalties which may be allotted by the Handicapper.
