The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Corporal Violette, trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Stewards requested a report from Thomas Cleary, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Kodiac Prince, placed first, as compared with its recent run at Galway two days ago. Thomas Cleary reported that his charge did not race into the dip or up the hill at Galway. He added that his charge had shown a liking for Naas when finishing second in a handicap here last year. M.A. Enright, rider of Juyush (GB) trained by Miss Jennifer Anne Lynch, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right throughout
