The Stewards interviewed Mr. P. Rogan, rider of Kaftan Style (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip when out of contention and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(b)(chance of winning or being placed clearly gone). Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended Mr. P. Rogan for two racedays
The Stewards interviewed Mr. S. Connor, rider of Ballycorr, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned , who accepted that he had used his whip excessively and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. S. Connor was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion
