Permission was given for WIND PLACE AND SO to go early to post and to be mounted on the track.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the first bend involving General Allenby (GB), unplaced, ridden by Andrew Mullen, and Attention Seaker (GB), unplaced, ridden by David Allan.
Allan was cautioned for careless riding as he had angled left when insufficiently clear causing the rider of General Allenby (GB) to take a slight check.
Sean Davis, the rider of Valkenburg (GB), placed eighth was interviewed but was found not to be involved in the interference.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the bend approximately 6 furlongs out when Glan Y Gors (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Clifford Lee interfered with Bodacious Name (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Jason Hart.
The interference was found to be accidental as Glan Y Gors (IRE) had hung quickly left on the bend despite the rider's best efforts, causing Bodacious Name (IRE) to be short of room against the rail.
Adam McNamara the rider of True Destiny (GB), placed second was suspended for 7 days for using his whip above the permitted level in the final 1? furlongs.
Following the race, Clifford Lee reported that Glan Y Gors (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed under pressure.
Sean Davis reported that Valkenburg (GB), placed eighth, never travelling and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
