Permission was given for Cambria Legend (IRE) to wear a red hood in the preliminaries, and for Nap Hand (IRE) to go to post early.
Inside the final 2 furlongs, Chaturanga (IRE), placed fifth, hung quickly right-handed for one hit, causing Masekela (IRE), placed third, to be crowded for room and the rider have to take a precautionary check.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Approaching the final furlong, Stressfree (FR), placed second, lugged quickly right-handed taking Nap Hand (IRE), placed fourth, briefly off its intended line, which in turn took Chaturanga (IRE), placed fifth, slightly off its intended line.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Stressfree (FR).
Following the race, Mark Winn reported that Stressfree (FR), placed second, was denied a clear run 2f out.
