The Starter reported that Ziggy (GB) was the subject of a third criteria failure.
Harry Eustace was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Joe Fanning, the rider of State Of Bliss (IRE), placed second, was suspended for 7 for using his whip above the permitted level from 2 furlongs out.
Oisin Murphy, the rider of Scampi (GB), placed third, was suspended for 2 days for using his whip above the permitted level from approaching the final furlong.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference inside the final furlong when Scampi (GB), placed third, ridden by Oisin Murphy, interfered with Ziggy (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Daniel Tudhope.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Scampi (GB)’s placing as the gelding always appeared to be holding Ziggy (GB), who lost minimal momentum as a result of the interference, with ½ length between them at the line.
Murphy was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed, without sufficient correction, on 2 occasions causing Tudhope to take precautionary checks.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Something Enticing (IRE), placed fifth, hung right- handed.
