Being satisfied that it was not caused through a faulty action of the starting stalls, no further action was taken.
Rounding the first bend, Nikolayeva (GB), unplaced, jinked right-handed causing Red October (IRE), placed second, to be switched right-handed off heels, and as a result Tombolo (FR), unplaced, was carried wide.
After viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final half furlong involving Twilight Twist (GB), unplaced, ridden by Georgia King, and Pride Of England (GB), unplaced, ridden by Saffie Osborne.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, King was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
King was suspended for 2 days for careless riding for switching her mount right- handed when not sufficiently clear, causing Pride Of England (GB) to be taken off its intended line with Osborne having to steady off heels.
