An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final half furlong when the winner, Red October (IRE), ridden by Louis Steward, interfered with Corbulo (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Martin Dwyer.
Steward was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed Red October (IRE) to drift left-handed towards the rail under a right-handed drive, causing Dwyer to take a slight check on Corbulo (IRE).
