An enquiry was held to consider interference leaving the back straight involving Rattling (GB), placed third, ridden by Alec Voikhansky, Peggoty (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Richard Kingscote, It Is Now (GB), unplaced, ridden by Neil Callan, Esken Rose (USA), unplaced, ridden by Shane Kelly and FANTASTY NAVIGATOR, placed sixth, ridden by Adam Farragher.
Being a 7lb claimer, Voikhansky was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
Richard Kingscote, rider of Peggoty (GB), placed fourth and Shane Kelly the rider of Esken Rose (USA), unplaced, were also present in the enquiry but it was found they were not involved in the interference.
Voikhansky was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he allowed Rattling (GB) to drift right towards the rail, causing Farragher to take a check to avoid heels, which in turn resulted in Callan having to take a check on It Is Now (GB) for a number of strides.
Rounding the bend in the home straight, Fantasy Navigator (GB), placed sixth, became unbalanced when making contact with the rail causing Neil Callan, the rider of It Is Now (GB), unplaced, to take a check but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Fantasy Navigator (GB).
