The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the home turn involving Blame Thechampagne, ridden by C.J
MacRedmond, unplaced, Emerald Harmony, ridden by S.B. Kelly, placed second, and Butterfly Bush, ridden by R.C. Colgan, unplaced, where it appeared C.J. MacRedmond had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.B. Kelly stated that his mount rounded the bend badly. R.C. Colgan stated that he was going backwards when he received a slight bump. C.J. MacRedmond stated that he went for a gap but was bumped around momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
An extended handicap for three years old only rated 47-70 Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
