Permission was given for Whitefountainfairy (IRE) to wear a hood in the parade ring.
The Starter reported that Scottish Summit (IRE) was reluctant to enter the stalls.
Geoff Harker was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Scottish Summit (IRE) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when Moraawed (GB), placed seventh, ridden by Charlie Bennett, interfered with Dragons Tail (IRE), placed eighth, ridden by Jane Elliot.
Bennett was cautioned for careless riding as he manoeuvred his mount right-handed giving Dragons Tail (IRE) a slight bump and carrying it of its intended line.
Following the race, David Probert reported that Whitefountainfairy (IRE), placed fifth, missed the break.
Thomas Greatrex reported that Candelisa (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of International Man (GB), unplaced, during routine testing, revealed the gelding to be lame on its left-hind.
