The Raceday Stewards requested a report from C.Byrnes, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Redwood Queen, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. C. Byrnes reported that his charge ran flat the last day and was freshened up following a break which may have brought about the apparent improvement in form
