An enquiry was held to consider interference in the final ½ furlong when the winner, Sha La La La Lee (GB), ridden by Jane Elliott interfered with Gabrial The Saint (IRE), placed second, ridden by Paul Hanagan.
Elliott was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as she had allowed her horse to drift right for a considerable distance without correction carrying Gabrial The Saint (IRE) off its intended line and causing Hanagan to check approaching the line.
Following the race, James Doyle reported that Another Batt (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling from a wide draw.
Jason Watson reported that Shady Mccoy (USA), placed seventh, was slowly away.
Sean Davis reported that Brian The Snail (IRE), unplaced, hung right throughout and Silvestre De Sousa reported that Dragons Tail (IRE), unplaced, had no more to give.
