Formscan By John O'Riordan - Course and distance winner COKO BEACH should be difficult to beat back over his optimum distance. Successful here in February, the grey ran very respectably in the Grand National before subsequently finishing third over 4m1f back here at the festival. Still in contention when unseating four out in the Pardubicka last time, he can regain the winning thread now. In receipt of 10lb, the Gavin Cromwell-trained Vanillier has to be a serious threat. Laid out for Aintree last season, the nine-year-old is likely to be campaigned more aggressively this term. A Listed winner over hurdles, Solitary Man is an interesting recruit to this discipline. Trainer Enda Bolger has few peers when it coming to producing banks horses.
