The Stewards requested a report from W.P. Mullins, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Brahma Bull, placed first, as compared with its recent form. W.P. The Stewards interviewed D. Robinson, rider of Nick Lost (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip excessively. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that D
Robinson was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g), in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended D. Robinson for 3 racedays.
