The Raceday Stewards reviewed the falls at the second last fence involving MacDermott (FR), ridden by D.E
Mullins, and Dundaniel, ridden by D. King, where it appeared contact was made in mid air resulting in the falls
Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
An extended handicap steeplechase for five years old and upwards that have not won a steeplechase before 30th April 2023, other than one hunters steeplechase within the previous two National Hunt seasons (123 = 11st 12lbs)
Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each steeplechase won.
