An enquiry was held to consider interference just inside 4 furlongs out involving Flylikeaneagle (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Franny Norton and Sky Flyer (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jimmy Quinn.
Quinn was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he angled right when insufficiently clear and in so doing, turned the quarters of Flylikeaneagle (IRE).
The performance of Flylikeaneagle (IRE), which finished unplaced, was considered.
Mark Johnston's representative could offer no explanation other than the colt suffered interference just inside 4 furlongs out.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Flylikeaneagle (IRE) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
