An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when the winner, Fly Falcon (IRE), ridden by Jamie Spencer, interfered with Note Bleu (GB), placed second, ridden by Martin Dwyer, who in turn interfered with Glendevon (USA), placed fourth, ridden by Darragh Keenan.
Spencer was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed when insufficiently clear, causing Dwyer to take a check off heels which in turn caused Keenan to take a check.
Following the race, David Probert reported that Horn Of Plenty (GB), placed sixth, was denied a clear run.
