The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Henning, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Megan Donovan the Authorized Representative for Denis Gerard Hogan stated that the filly had had her soft palate fired after her last run and also has been treated for ulcers. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

A novice hurdle for four years old and upwards which at entry are rated 110 or less (also open to horses which at entry are rated 111-120)
Weights - 4-y-o 10st 6lbs 5-y-o and up 11st 4lbs
Penalties - Performances before 2nd February - for every 1lb above the rating of 110 1lb extra On or after 2nd February - for each hurdle race won 7lb extra
