D. McMonagle, rider of Rosmana (FR) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not get a clear run in this race
J.M. Sheridan, rider of Affable (GB) trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered after two furlongs
The Stewards reviewed an incident about two furlongs from the finish involving Sasta, ridden by K.J. Manning, unplaced, Menagerie, ridden by H.J. Horgan, unplaced and Mean Fomhair, ridden by R.C. Colgan, unplaced, where it appeared that Mean Fomhair lost her hind legs in running. Having reviewed the recording of that part of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no action was warranted
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mean Fomhair, trained by B. Duffy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
An extended handicap for three years old and upwards fillies only that are EBF eligible (90 = 10st) Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 10st and the minimum weight shall not be less than 8st 6lbs Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 6lb extra for each race won.
