Permission was given for La Maquina (GB) and Plunger (GB) to go down to start early.
Permission was given for Harbour Spirit (FR) to wear earplugs down to the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong when Directory (GB), placed third, ridden by Ryan Tate interfered with, Letsbe Avenue (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Luke Catton.
Tate was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his horse to shift right without sufficient correction causing Catton to take a check.
Approximately one furlong out Wingreen (IRE) , placed sixth, shifted slightly right causing Plunger (GB) placed seventh to have to be checked.
But after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Wingreen (IRE).
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when Letsbe Avenue (IRE) placed fifth, ridden by Luke Catton interfered with La Maquina (GB), unplaced, ridden by Nicola Currie.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Catton was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry, but declined.
Catton was suspended for 7 days for careless riding as he switched right towards the rail causing La Maquina (GB) to clip heels.
Following the race Luke Catton reported that Letsbe Avenue (IRE) placed fifth was denied a clear run.
Jason Watson reported that Love Your Work (IRE) unplaced, lost its action and hung right.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
