Storm Master (GB) unseated its rider, Sean Kirrane, leaving the Parade Ring.
Having been checked by the Doctor, Kirrane was deemed fit to race.
Shortly after the start, a free running Birdie Bowers (IRE), placed sixth, edged right-handed taking Tathmeen (IRE), unplaced, off its intended line at the same time as Zamjar (GB), unplaced, drifted left- handed causing Embla (GB), placed fifth, to be crowded for room and stumbled.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Birdie Bowers (IRE).
Following the race, Ben Curtis reported that Zamjar (GB), unplaced, ran too freely and Paula Muir reported that Embla (GB), placed fifth, suffered interference 5 furlongs out.
