Permission was given for Parramount (GB) to be mounted on the course and to go to post early wearing a red hood.

Inside the final furlong, the winner, Rockit Tommy (GB), edged marginally left-handed at the same time as Eben Zaabeel (GB), placed second, shifted right-handed, before being quickly corrected, which caused the rider of a weakening Parramount (GB), placed third, to momentarily ease her mount, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Rockit Tommy (GB) nor Eben Zaabeel (GB).
Following the race, Jim Crowley reported that Eben Zaabeel (GB), placed second, hung right-handed under pressure.
