A steeplechase for Certified Hunters five yrs old and upwards that have been placed first, second, third or fourth in a Certified Hunters Steeplechase or in a Point-to-Point Steeplechase in Ireland between 1st January, 2006 and 18th February, 2009 Weights - 5-y-o 10st 8lb; 6-y-o and up 11st 4lb; Mares allowed 5lb Penalties - (to count from 1st January, 2007) Winner of a steeplechase to carry 5lb extra; for each steeplechase won. Maximum penalty 10lb Riders - Qualified under I.N.H.S. Rules. A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 52 (v) for the 2008/2009 season for each horse entered must be lodged at the Office of the Governing Bodies, the Turf Club, The Curragh, Co. Kildare, not later than 18th February, 2009 or the horse is not qualified to start.
