Excellent Very game for Joyce
He had a wide draw and we thought we weren't going to win being six wide, so he kicked on and went forward. He's a very genuine horse. Wesley is a Limerick man like myself so I have to look after him! He gave him a lovely ride, exactly what we discussed beforehand. The horse can get caught for a turn of speed so he let him stride on early and it all worked out well. I thought maybe a furlong out or more he was going to get chinned and Wesley said the same but he stuck the head down and he was good and honest. I'd say we will probably try a bit of hurdling with him. He had a mid-winter break so he is ready to go on better ground over hurdles. He won over hurdles before last season so we will give it a go again this season.

Smart performance from Keen on return
Mikey said he loved the surface. Unusually for one of ours, I hadn't brought him up. I thought it was a lovely race to start him off in. He loved it around there, skipped around and loved the surface. He showed me plenty early last year and he was probably a bit weak through the year even. I just thought he wintered really well. I had been pleased with his work and he was ready to start. I think there is a lot more to come from him. Mikey said he held onto him for as long as he could and said when he asked him to quicken, he quickened like a really smart horse. He's a smashing, solid horse with plenty of size and scope. He has a great mind and a great attitude. He went out there on his own and had him at it early. He looks like a Stakes horse and will make into one anyway.
Beleaguerment prevails in tight finish
Shane hasn't been riding him the last five or six times and he does get on particularly well with him. He has been unlucky and running into traffic. I was away in Vegas and only got back at 7 this morning, I think I'm heading for being up 36 hours!. Before we got him, he was better on turf and will go back on it for his grade. He generally runs his race and to be fair to him he is fairly consistent.

Coviglia springs 40/1 shock for Moore
He was (effective on the all-weather in Britain). He has come back to his form, he had a wee bit of muscle problems but we got it sorted. I knew he was showing me plenty at home. The owner Andrew Crawford sent him to me. He is going to send me a few, hopefully after this he will!. I think he will win again because that is his first run since August. He likes the turf too, we will see how we come out of this race.
