At the third last hurdle, Holerday Ridge (IRE), placed third, jumped awkwardly before shortly afterwards lugging quickly right-handed, crowding up the winner, Appreciate (IRE), which in turn gave a significant bump to Iron Heart (GB), placed second, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
