Exiting the final bend, in a tight field Lockdown (GB), unplaced, edged slightly left causing Twilight Heir (GB), placed third, to become short for room and be checked, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The performance of Soyounique (IRE), which started favourite and finished placed sixth, was considered.

The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Soyounique (IRE), during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
