Arcara bounces out quick for a win
That was great. Declan (McDonogh, successful rider) said she was still a bit green. The first time she was murdered and had no race and also had a rough race on her second run. She has always shown enough and I'm delighted with her. If they are good enough we don't want to leave anything behind especially the way mine have been running. They have been running well but have been second and third. We'll see what the handicapper does. She's out of an Observatory mare so should get better with time. Declan said she was still clueless in the first couple of furlongs but when she got organised she travelled sweetly. She'll probably be better over six.
Halford and Foley on the double
“We put the hood on her to settle her as she was keen in Naas and she nearly settled too much as Shane said she feel asleep turning in,”
Royal Ascot option for Another Story
She's left me a bit speechless. I think she's really smart,. I didn't want her getting hot so she came here needing a piece of work. Ronan said she gave a big heave two furlongs out and he thought she would get tired but she just went. I'm just thrilled. She's a lovely filly and home-bred. I need to talk to the owner. I don't know if it's shooting at stars but we might look at the Jersey. She can only improve again. She came here not fully wound up as I thought a lot of her and wanted her to learn. First time everything happened fast and she's so competitive I don't think she learned a lot. I think she'll learn from tonight. Ronan was delighted with the way she travelled.

Cass now 2 from 2 at Dundalk
He has plenty of ability. He won well there and might like the surface. His past form has been a little disappointing,

He made up a lot of ground. Pat said he was very keen. We were hoping the two miles would bring out the best in him,. We fancied him for a hurdle in Liverpool but it rained and the ground got heavy on him. There is a handicap hurdle on June 1st at Punchestown that will suit him and it's a decent prize. We'll look forward to the summer with him and he might win another little one along the way.
