It wasn't surprising to hear Michael Halford say "she did that nicely and was professional. She's just a lovely straight-forward filly," after his Yulong Baobei (11/4) scored at the first time of asking under Shane Foley in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Auction Maiden (Plus 10 Race) at Dundalk.
The successful chestnut daughter of Choisir (a 13,000 Euro yearling) made all and she was pushed along to assert from over a furlong out.
She went clear inside the final furlong to easily account for even money favourite Rock In Peace (missed the break).
"She was working well and we were pleased with her but most of ours take a run. When I seen them in the ring she looked really well," further disclosed Halford.
"She knew her job first time and time will tell what she beat. We'll probably take our chance in the Listed fillies race at Naas.
"She should improve. Shane said she was still quite green but it's a big ask for them to do that first time.
"I think she's a smart filly. That's my first horse for Mr Zhang and I have another couple of nice two-year-olds for him."
