After the final fence, Cool Mix (GB), placed second, shifted slightly left at the same time as Forecast (GB), placed third, shifted slightly right causing them to come together, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Cool Mix (GB).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Forecast (GB), placed third, had bled from the nose.
