The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Blanc De Noir, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Stephen Thorne, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Shoot To Kill, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer stated that on his last run his charge was drawn wide and the race was not run to suit as he was caught wide the whole way. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered
