The performance of Undersupervision (IRE), which started favourite and was pulled up, was considered.
It was noted that Nigel Twiston-Davies could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance on this occasion.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Undersupervision (IRE), during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities other than the gelding lost its left-hind shoe.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Mister Malarky (GB), placed second, lost its right- hind shoe.
