An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately three furlongs out involving Silverturnstogold (GB), placed third, ridden by Angus Villiers, Toro Dorado (GB), unplaced, ridden by Edward Greatrex, Margie's Choice (GER), unplaced, ridden by Liam Keniry and Imbucato (GB), unplaced, ridden by Brett Doyle.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Villiers was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry, but declined.
The interference was found to be accidental as initially, Silverturnstogold (GB), had edged marginally left-handed making brief contact with Toro Dorado (GB) causing the gelding to become unbalanced.
As a consequence, a few strides later, Toro Dorado (GB), having never fully recovered his balance, shied quickly away from Silverturnstogold (GB) before being corrected, taking Imbucato (GB) off its intended line and causing it to clip heels when it made contact with and turned the quarters of Margie's Choice (GER) on its outside.
Joyful Dream (IRE), anticipated the start and hit her head on the gates.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Brett Doyle reported that Imbucato (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed.
The representative of Amy Murphy reported that Kennocha (IRE), unplaced, was unsuited by the Good, Good to Soft ground and would prefer a sounder surface.
