A query was raised to consider why Martin Keighley was running Sarasota Star (IRE) here at Southwell on going described as Good, having declared the gelding a non-runner at Plumpton on 9 May 2021 on ground with the same official description.
The trainer stated that, in his opinion, the ground here at Southwell was a more even surface and he was therefore happy for Sarasota Star (IRE) to take its chance.
Permission was given for Siannes Star (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and to go early to post.
