The Raceday Stewards received a request from Eoin Griffin, trainer of Hidalgo Des Mottes (FR), to substitute the nominated rider G. Brouder, with R.A. Doyle, due to G. Brouder being stood down yesterday. Eoin Griffen stated that he wanted someone who is famiiar with his charge and R.A. Doyle has ridden the animal on numerous occasions. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed the rider substitution on this occasion
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the approach to the final hurdle involving Hidalgo Des Mottes (FR), ridden by R. Doyle, placed fourth, and More Info, ridden by D. King, placed third, where it appeared Hidalgo Des Mottes ducked left hampering More Info. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
