Following the race, Sean Levey reported that Somekindasuperstar (GB), unplaced, stumbled when approaching the 4 furlong marker.
The winner Bezzas Lad (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Newmarket on 18 June 2020 where the gelding finished seventh of nine runners, beaten by 14 lengths.
Tony Carroll’s representative explained that Bezzas Lad (IRE) had been relaxed in the stalls on this occasion whilst further benefiting from making the running and in their opinion, being suited by the track at Chepstow was noted.
