An enquiry was held to consider interference exiting the back straight involving Killaro Boy (IRE), placed third, ridden by Lee Edwards; Dr Des (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by James Bowen and Tango De Juilley (FR), placed second, ridden by Charlie Deutsch.
The interference was found to be accidental as after initially being momentarily crowed for racing room by Tango De Juilley (FR), which lugged right-handed before being corrected by its rider, Bowen took a slight check which caused Dr Des (IRE) to change leads and shift quickly left-handed, bumping Killaro Boy (IRE), causing that gelding to stumble badly and almost fall.
Following the race, Charlie Deutsch reported that Tango De Juilley (FR), placed second, hung right- handed and also jumped right-handed throughout.
