Rounding the home bend, the winner, Travolta (GB), was hampered when tightened for room between Dream Ocean (IRE), unplaced, which lugged slightly right-handed at the same time as Hampden (IRE), placed third, hung quickly left-handed, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Laura Pearson reported that Takes Time (GB), unplaced, was slowly away and the Veterinary Officer reported that the filly lost its left-fore shoe.
William Cox reported that Amserda (GB), unplaced, ran green and was outpaced throughout.

An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving MUSICAL DIVA (IRE), placed second, ridden by Jason Watson, SAY YOU’LL NEVER (IRE), placed third, ridden by Neil Callan, and the winner, HORSE WHISPERER (IRE), ridden by Silvestre De Sousa.
The interference was found to be accidental in that MUSICAL DIVA (IRE) shifted slightly left-handed resulting in HORSE WHISPERER (IRE), shying away to the left and carrying SAY YOU’LL NEVER (IRE) off its intended line resulting in Callan having to take a precautionary check.
An enquiry was held to consider interference just inside the final furlong involving MUSICAL DIVA (IRE), placed second, ridden by Jason Watson, SAY YOU’LL NEVER (IRE), placed third, ridden by Neil Callan, and HOT FRONT (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Rossa Ryan.
The interference was found to be accidental as HOT FRONT (IRE), which was coming to the end of its run, was left short of room as SAY YOU’LL NEVER (IRE) shifted slightly right-handed at the same time as MUSICAL DIVA (IRE) lugged left-handed with both riders quickly correcting their mounts.
Following the race, Jason Watson reported that MUSICAL DIVA (IRE), placed second, lugged left-handed.
