Approximately 2 furlongs out, Transition (GB), placed seventh, shifted marginally left-handed making brief contact with the winner, Iva Reflection (IRE), but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately half a furlong out when Transition (GB), placed seventh, ridden by Rhys Clutterbuck, interfered with Fact Or Fable (IRE), unplaced, ridden by David Egan, which in turn interfered with Ethel Rose (GB), unplaced, ridden by Joey Haynes.
The interference was found to be accidental as Transition (GB) had lugged sharply and quickly left-handed when Clutterbuck changed his whip hand, causing both Fact Or Fable (IRE) and Ethel Rose (GB) on his inside to be short of room and checked by their riders.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Winnetka (IRE), placed second, had lost its left- hind shoe.
