R.A. Doyle, rider of Majestic Design, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. The I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer subsequently confirmed the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race
The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Rachel's Secret, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who felt that he did not breach the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J.P. O'Sullivan was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Declan Queally, trainer of Majestic Design and Rachel's Secret, regarding the late arrival of his horses into the Parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that the seven minute delay to the first race left him tight on time to try and tack them up and bring them to the parade ring
Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted his explanation.
