Having reviewed the start, the Stewards were satisfied that Big Muddy (GB) had refused to race and was deemed to be a runner.
An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Big Muddy (GB), which had refused to race.
Seb Spencer was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As the gelding had also refused to race three starts ago at Newcastle on 24 May 2022, Spencer was informed that any future similar behaviour from Big Muddy (GB), may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
