The Stewards fined I.Madden, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Olive D'haguenet (FR), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Cesar Du Gouet (FR) trained by S.J.Mahon was found to have pulled its left hind shoe post race
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Life Isfor Living, trained by Oliver McKiernan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis
The Stewards interviewed D. Meyler, rider of Sherryorport, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found D. Meyler in breach of Reg. 10. 3. (b) by using his whip when his chance of winning or being placed was clearly gone and having taken his record into account suspended him for three race days.
