Permission was given for Demi Pointe (GB) to wear a red hood to post and to be mounted on course, for Catwalk Model (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood and Noor Bano (IRE) to go early to post and to be mounted on course.
The raceday privilege request in relation to Noor Bano (IRE), trained by Ismail Mohammed was late being submitted.
Mohammed was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
The Starter reported Catwalk Model (GB) was the subject of a third criteria failure.
Amy Murphy was informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 2 furlongs out, involving Noor Bano (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Jefferson Smith, Katey Kontent (GB), placed third, ridden by Rossa Ryan, Cuban Breeze (GB), unplaced, ridden by Neil Callan, Musical Tribute (GB), unplaced, ridden by Hayley Turner, Miss Bella Brand (GB), unplaced, ridden by George Wood and Miss Mai Tai (GB), unplaced, ridden by Callum Shepherd.
Smith was suspended for 6 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right- handed taking both Cuban Breeze (GB) and Katey Kontent (GB) off their intended line, causing Katey Kontent (GB) to become short for room and Ryan having to take a check, which then resulted in Shepherd to take a slight check off heels.
Smith then continued to allow Noor Bano (IRE) to drift right-handed, taking Miss Bella Brand (GB) off its intended line and causing the mare to become unbalanced, which made brief contact with Musical Tribute (GB).
The winner, Alcazan (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Wolverhampton on 7 September 2023 where the filly finished twelfth of twelve, beaten by 12 ½ lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Roger Teal could offer no explanation for the filly’s improved form.
Alcazan (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that Katey Kontent (GB), placed third, was denied a clear run approximately 2 furlongs out.
