The representative of Brian Smart was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
The winner Gamesome (FR) appeared to show an improvement in form, compared with its previous run at Beverley on 14 May 2019 where the gelding finished fourteenth of fifteen beaten 10? lengths.
Paul Midgley explained that the gelding may have benefitted from being able to get cover from a better draw on this occasion.
His explanation was noted.
Following the race, Ben Robinson reported that Twentysvnthlancers (GB), unplaced, stopped quickly.
