An enquiry was held to consider interference after the final hurdle, when Morraman (IRE), placed second, ridden by Theo Gillard, interfered with Stop Talking (IRE), placed third, ridden by Henry Brooke.
Gillard was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift left when not sufficiently clear of Stop Talking (IRE).
Being a 7lb claimer, Gillard was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Beeno (IRE), placed sixth, finished lame left fore.
