Permission was given for Astigar (FR) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the third last hurdle, involving Astigar (FR), placed fourth, ridden by Jack Tudor and the winner, Halifax (FR), ridden by Conor Ring.
The interference was found to be accidental as Halifax (FR), moved into a legitimate gap at the same time as Astigar (FR) jumped left-handed, and as Tudor corrected his mount causing Halifax (FR) to be slightly crowded for room.
Following the race, Isabel Williams reported that Loved Out (IRE), placed third, was slowly into stride.
