The Clerk of the Scales reported that Lorcan Williams, the rider of Wavering Down (IRE), placed second, trained by Jeremy Scott, had weighed in at 11st 1lb having weighed out at 10st 13lbs.
The rider and the Clerk of the Scales were interviewed.
Williams was suspended for 3 days for weighing in at 2lb overweight.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Front View (FR), placed fifth, was found to be lame on its left-fore and Breaking Waves (IRE), unplaced, lost its right-fore shoe.
