The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Alfa Mix (GB), ridden by M.P
Walsh, placed second, and Rambranlt'jac (FR), ridden by B. Hayes, placed first, where it appeared that Rambranlt'jac drifted right in the closing stages. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, who were both of the opinion that the drifting was minor and had no affect on the result. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and were satisfied that no further action was warranted
P. Townend, rider of Captain Kangaroo trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made mistakes in running and also made a respiratory noise
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Oscar Academy trained by Patrick Martin was found to have lost the left fore shoe and was also lame post race.
