An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the first fence approaching the bend, involving Natty Night (GB), placed second, ridden by Shane Quinlan and MARTALMIX’JAC (FR), unplaced, ridden by Mr Murry Dodd.
Mr Dodd was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.
The interference was found to be accidental as Natty Night (GB) hung right-handed before being corrected, causing MARTALMIX’JAC (FR) to be momentarily short of room.
Following the race, Shane Quinlan reported that Natty Night (GB), placed second, hung right-handed and jumped left-handed throughout.
